Client Background
Client Background: A large-scale public cultural institution in Guangdong Province, featuring a library, exhibition halls, and lecture theaters. The center required an entrance solution that combined security, accessibility, and architectural harmony.
Challenge: The entrance served dual purposes (daily visitor access + large-scale event flow) and needed to be disabled-friendly. It also required quiet operation to preserve the library’s peaceful environment, and a design that complemented the center’s contemporary architectural style.
Solution: Customized a 10-meter trackless sliding gate with slow-start/slow-stop function and adjustable opening speed (0.8-1.0m/s). Added a dedicated accessible passage with remote control for wheelchair users, and integrated the gate with the center’s visitor registration system (QR code scan + ID verification). The gate’s matte black finish and minimalist design matched the building’s glass-and-steel exterior, and the noise-free motor operated at ≤45dB.
Outcome: The gate has accommodated over 50 large-scale events (with 1,000+ attendees each) without operational issues. Access control accuracy reached 100%, preventing unauthorized entry while ensuring smooth flow for visitors. The client noted that the gate’s blend of functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal perfectly met the needs of a public cultural space, and recommended it to other municipal cultural institutions.
